Editorial and publication layout design for a monthly local events magazine in San Francisco, CA. I conceptualized the look and feel as well as coordinated the content and interfaced with the printers. First run September 2012.

Vessel’s Alegorie
Small California based distillery needed a new, old label for their historic brand of rum. I took Vessel’s Alegorie from a modern 90s brand back to the roots with a focus on the tale of how it all started. Bringing to life the rich and storied past with a custom carved lino block stamp modified for each level of rum, Gold, Spiced and Aged.

MIX/
MIX event was created to bring together artists and designers to help liven up an unloved part of San Francisco and create a platform for local artists to show their goods. I co-created the idea with AIGA SF and designed the brand under their sponsorship.
T-Shirt sold at the event and given to influencers before the event. Hand Screen printed
Posters promoting the event were featured in 16 BART stations around the Bay Area
Tickets to gain entry into the event also acted as a golden ticket and was heavily instagrammed

An Australian beauty company wanted a refresh on their product line up. With an emphasis on clean and cool I created this deep blue and warm white refresh and also simplified their logo. Product shots and promo text created by me.

myspace reality custom microsite layouts
Designed a template for microsites for the reality to host and apply their listings to. Mocked up two sites including brand image and web banners for each property. These two went live while the others were being aplied to the template.

Nougatine Patisserie
In house designer for a well established pastry shop needing an online presence and a modern look. I created an entire cohesive concept and brand image with the existing name, using the triangle meaning sugar in recipe shorthand. Designed and laid out the website and mobile site. Setup social media and connected to the site. Created multiple posts and templates. Including product shots and website photography. Designed their first packaging for in store and national sales.

B.A.R.T.
Created a brand update and improved UI experience for the Bay Area Rapid Transit system in San Francisco, California, USA. This was my entry for their contest. They never chose a winner and the design has gone unchanged since it’s 1972 creation.

Conceptualized and mocked a game design, brand and package with an accompanying app for a marketing firm. Product shots and dieline included. Fun but calming colors were chosen to create a sense of play without a stressful environment.

Food truck market alliance in San Francisco. Food is a celebration and I wanted that to come through in the design to bring all the individual trucks together to create a night market similar to those in Asia where everyone gathers and eats together. Bright colours were used to create the feeling of energy.

Portfolio Book
My portfolio book from design school. I custom made everything. Hand bound all the paged that I designed and printed myself. The storage box was handmade and lined with handmade paper.
